Explore the Lake
For those with a great physical endurance who want to explore the entire Walensee, you can start your journey from our chalet in Mols all the way to Weesen and enjoy the beautiful scenery and crystal-clear waters. When you arrive at Weesen, you’ll find the river “Linthkanal” that discharges into the Zürichsee or Lake Zürich. It’s a significant undertaking so it requires a good level of physical endurance. Make sure you plan your journey well and pack all your necessary supplies. If you want to, you can stop along the way and have a picnic, or go for a walk.

Types of SUPs
There are three different types of Stand Up Paddle boards. Epoxy/Hard Paddle boards, Soft Top Paddle boards and Inflatable SUP boards. Epoxy/Hard Paddle boards are made of a solid, rigid material such as fiberglass or carbon fiber. They offer excellent performance and stability on the water. Epoxy boards are known for their durability and responsiveness, making them suitable for various water conditions and skill levels. Soft Top Paddle Soft top paddle boards feature a foam deck that provides added cushioning and grip. They are often favored by beginners or those who prioritize comfort and safety. For those who are not very experienced yet this one is ideal as it is great for learning, recreational paddling of family use. Inflatable SUP boards are made of sturdy drop-stitch construction and can be inflated and deflated for easy transportation and storage. These boards are highly portable and convenient, as they can be rolled up and carried in a backpack. Inflatable SUPs are versatile and suitable for various skill levels and water conditions. They are popular among travelers, paddlers with limited storage space, and those who want a portable option.

For example, Intersport charges CHF 150,- a day per SUP.
